WHO WE ARE

"A Zé " and "A Zé II" are two design and handicraft shops representing traditional Portuguese items, creations of Portuguese artists and made from materials found in our country.

Located at the Historical Centre of the beautiful village of Sintra, "A Zé" opened the doors for the first time on the 1st of December of 1978 and it has been throughout its existence, a landmark in the handicrafts of this country. Its clients, Portuguese and from all over the world, find here the ideal artwork item to take back home, an expression of the art and the excellent handmade work produced in Portugal. More recently, in April 1997, with the opening of the shop "A Zé II", the exhibition area was increased and, as a consequence, the variety of items has made "A Zé" a unique shop.
